Your browser. Your TikTok account.
Install the KeepTok extension once, sign in normally, then import your session into the Windows app. Google sign-in uses your regular browser.
Get the browser extension
For desktop Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Free · No separate account · Manual installation. Not listed in browser stores yet.
First time: install once
Extract the ZIP
Right-click the downloaded ZIP → Extract All. Keep the extracted folder in a permanent location. Select the folder containing manifest.json when loading the extension; do not select the ZIP itself.
Open browser extensions
In Chrome, paste chrome://extensions into the address bar. In Edge, use edge://extensions. Turn on Developer mode, then choose Load unpacked and select the extracted folder.
chrome://extensionsedge://extensionsPin KeepTok
Open the browser’s Extensions menu (puzzle icon) and pin KeepTok. Install it in the same browser profile you use for TikTok, not an Incognito window.
Then: sign in and import
Start from KeepTok Settings
Open Settings → platform sign-in → TikTok → Browser sign-in & import. Keep the app open while it waits. In the no-extension preview, use Google sign-in (extension fallback) or Advanced options → extension import.
Sign in to TikTok normally
Use your regular Chrome or Edge with the extension installed. Google sign-in is available through TikTok’s sign-in page. Complete any verification yourself, then return to a tiktok.com page.
Click Import in the extension
Click the pinned KeepTok icon → Import TikTok session. Wait for the saved confirmation, then return to KeepTok and check sign-in status. The receiver closes after import or after 10 minutes; start again in Settings if it expires.
If something gets stuck
Cannot connect to KeepTok? Use the Windows app on this computer, click Browser sign-in & import again, then retry Import. Opening the website alone does not start the receiver.
No TikTok session found? Finish TikTok sign-in in the same browser profile where you installed the extension. A Google account signed in by itself is not a TikTok session.
Google says the browser may be unsafe? Close the dedicated preview login window and use the extension in your regular browser. The no-extension preview is not a supported Google sign-in route.
What the extension accesses
Only TikTok cookies are requested when you click Import. They are sent to the KeepTok app on 127.0.0.1:55765 using a temporary local session token. This extension does not read Google cookies or passwords, and does not send your session to our website. Do not share cookies, passwords or verification codes.
To remove it: open the browser extensions page and choose Remove under KeepTok. Removing the extension does not clear a session already saved in the app.
