TIKTOK LIVE RECORDING GUIDE

Record a LIVE. Keep it local.

A Windows workflow for authorized TikTok and Douyin recordings, with an optional OBS relay.

How to record TikTok LIVE on Windows

  1. Install KeepTok and sign in to the platform if required.
  2. Add a creator or paste a LIVE room URL in LIVE parsing. The creator must be live and accessible.
  3. Choose an available quality and start local recording. Keep your PC awake.
  4. Open Tasks or Files to review saved segments. Personal and Pro support automatic recording.

Send the stream into OBS

  1. Start the local relay for an accessible LIVE stream in KeepTok.
  2. Copy the relay URL displayed by the app. It is local to this computer.
  3. In OBS, add a Media Source, disable Local File and paste the relay URL as the input.
  4. Keep KeepTok and OBS running. KeepTok refreshes the upstream URL when needed.

This is local recording, not an offline LIVE downloader or a cloud service. Platform access, quality and continuity depend on the source. Record only content you own or have permission to use.
