01 / Install & start
Download the 64-bit Windows installer. Choose your save folder in Settings. FFmpeg and the built-in player are included in the full desktop package.

Practical steps for your first download, recording or activation.
02 / Sign in when needed
Use the client login option in Settings. TikTok Google-only accounts use the companion browser extension and a normal browser. Complete any platform verification yourself.
03 / Download a video
Paste a supported link on the download page. Submit it, then open Task Center for progress, cancel and retry. The current desktop version does not offer pause or partial-file resume.
04 / Record a LIVE
Add a creator or use LIVE room parsing, choose an available source quality and start recording. Keep your computer awake. Settings control segmentation and reconnect attempts.
05 / Connect OBS
Choose Connect to OBS from a parsed LIVE source. Wait for relay status, copy the local OBS address, then add it as a non-local Media Source in OBS. Keep KeepTok running.
06 / Payment & activation
Website purchasing is being prepared. Once open, purchase through PayPal and use your saved key in About / License. No payment credentials are stored in the desktop app.

Include your KeepTok version, Windows version and a description of the problem. For payment issues, include the order reference. Redact platform cookies, passwords, payment credentials and activation keys from screenshots.
